Record a walk-in sale

Sell to a customer whose name and phone number you don't have — the sale still counts.

A walk-in is a customer whose details you don't keep — someone buying once, in passing, with no reason to save their contact. You still record the sale so your day's totals stay accurate.

Record it

  1. Open the Order tab and tap Create Order.
  2. Leave the customer field empty — that's what tells Zalyx it's a walk-in.
  3. Add what they bought — from your catalog, or typed in directly.
  4. Tap Create Order.

No name, no phone number, no problem — the amount is what matters for your books.

Why it must be paid in full

A walk-in sale has to be recorded as fully paid. With no name or number attached, there's no one to chase for the rest if it's left as a balance — so Zalyx doesn't let a walk-in go out as partial or unpaid. If a sale needs to carry a balance, save the customer's details first.
