Take a part payment

Customers rarely pay everything at once. Zalyx is built around that — you record what came in today, and the balance takes care of itself.

At the time of sale

1. When creating the order, set Paid to Partial.
2. Enter the amount actually paid.
3. Tap Create Order. The difference becomes a balance against that customer.

On an order that's already open

1. Open the order.
2. Tap Record Balance Payment.
3. Enter the amount paid now.
4. Save it.

The balance updates immediately, and the order's status moves from Unpaid to Partial, then to Paid once nothing is left outstanding. Every part payment is kept in the order's history, so you can always see when each amount came in.
